Qarsan - The man behind Milsim in Minecraft

Qarsan has a large community centered around a modpack he made. The modpack contains numerous mods centered around recreating hyper-realistic military environments with a mix of firearms, mounted weaponry and best of all vehicles.

For those who have played the game series, "Arma", it's much like it's own interpretation in a much more mainstream game.

The Problem

Qarsan and his community would host regular events however there was one common complaint by everyone, including Qarsan himself

Lag.

RechNett> the lag is insane

A quote from a player mid game.

After trying numerous other providers, they settled on one provider who had some top of the line hardware. The problem is, that provider had numerous security flaws, which ultimately led to the tragic loss of not just Qarsan's, but all client data.

The Solution

After hearing about this, Sahara Compute was quick to reach out. We asked Qarsan if he would be interested using our infrastructure to host his events, and the results spoke for themselves.

Qarsan's Results

Qarsan's player base, who were very anxious and excited for a new event were delighted to hear about the new machine capacity that Qarsan had for them. His community was able to enjoy amazing game play with very minimal issues. Not only was his community happy, Qarsan was happy as he uses these events to create content for his youtube channel. He's found it significantly harder to edit videos that contain numerous lag spikes as he does not want to ruin the viewer experience with a just as miserable experience as both he and his own player base had.

Conclusion

Sahara Compute and Qarsan's partnership was able to not only increase community enjoyment to his content, but also drive more traffic and viewership to his already large youtube channel. Check out Qarsan's youtube channel below, and feel free to join his community, Tank Tussle.

"I have never had a bad experience with the company, and they have had some of the best prices in the industry for their VMs. Glad I ditched DigitalOcean to go to Sahara Compute."
